Autumn Owlies

My entire family slept in until 8am this morning!  What a nice change from the 5am wake up calls I get from my baby!  We had no where to be since we homeschool and my husband has a day off.  So it was just a nice start to the day!

I can't help it!  I'm just not ready for winter yet!  I want to hang on to fall as long as I can!  Of course, here in the Yukon, it's been winter for a month already.  In fact it's snowing yet again right now!  Oh well, I can live in the fall through my crafting!  What is your favourite season?

This card was made using Allison Davis' Card Sketch.  This was the first card sketch I've ever tried!  I changed it just a little by making the centres of the circles off centre.  It just seemed to match the feel of the owlies a little better!  Also, the card just seemed to work better by putting the sentiment on the inside.  I think the inside is almost as cute as the outside!  The first time I saw those Owlies from Stampin' Bella, I just knew that I wanted to try them!  I bought them right away, but then they waited in my cupboard for the right project!  This is the first time I've brought them out.  I know, I can't believe I waited that long either!  Instead of colouring in the owls, I stamped them on coordinating patterned paper and cut them out.  It was a lot of paper-piecing, but I think the end result was worth it!

I hope you have a fantastic day!
Hannah
