My Wild Emily!

To go with this page, I've got a super-cute Emily story to go with it.  If you know Emily, or as you can see from the photos, she doesn't sit still.  She's a very energetic little girl!  Yesterday, she started asking me about my honeymoon.  What did we do, was it boring, but why would you just hang out in the room, that kind of thing.  She was quiet for a few minutes so I though the conversation was over.  Then she says, "When I go on my honeymoon, I'm going to make sure there is a giant trampoline wherever we are going!  I won't be getting bored!"  Emily is 6 years old.

For this layout I used a sketch from Allison Davis.  Her sketches are amazing!  What I love about her sketches is that you can get many photos on one page without it looking cluttered!

The only technique that i used on the page is masking.  It's on the far right of the layout using Tim Holtz's Flourish Mask.

I hope you all have a delightful day!

I like this. So many designs just focus on one photo; which is cool too. But very often I have a series that tells a story and this looks just great for that.

For those of us who are ignorant to the scrapbooking world, perhaps you could explain what a "sketch" and "masking" are in this sense.
