Remember the Tire Swing?

I was browsing die cuts when I saw this Tire Swing Tree die by Cottage Cutz.  It was so cute I had to make one!  I remember swinging on a tire swing as a child!  My friend had one at her house and we loved it!  We would play for hours just on and around that swing!

The card is actually quite simple.  I drew out the pieces on the patterned paper, cut them out, and sponged ink on the edges.  After placing all the pieces, I outlined the parts of the tree with Lime Green Stickles.  The tire is made out of Grungeboard (I love that stuff!) and run through my Cuttlebug with the Mesh Embossing Folder.  Then I inked the heck out of it using Tim Holtz's Black Soot Distress Ink.

Anyway, I'm off to get the kids to bed!  Have a delightful evening!

The way you did the tree is so neat!! Reminds me of climbing trees when I was a kid and getting pushed in the tire swings by my Dad!!!
