Beautiful New Life

I love these beautiful photos of Taylor and I (and one with Emily and I) that were taken by my friend and doula Holly Malashewsky.  I wanted to be able to put them together in a layout that would not take away from the beauty of the moments I was having with my daughters.  I think the simple embellishments and the photo placement really achieve what I wanted.

I used one of Allison Davis' sketches to plan the layout.  I tend to be two-page-layout-challenged, so her sketches take out a lot of the measuring and second guessing!

This paper by Bo Bunny is so sparkly!

I love the butterfly!  It's a Tim Holtz die called  Fanciful Flight.  It cuts out the seperate pieces so that you can make it a butterfly view from the front (with two wings showing) or from the side (with one wing showing).  I used the striped paper in behind the details of the butterfly.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

What a great idea!!! I love it! What a great way to make a lasting memory of something so special. Looks professional, but I think I could do this one. As a beginner, some designs seem too complex.
