Hot Air Balloon
This was another of my limited-supply projects during my stay in a hotel this summer. I found the idea while I was taking one of Andrea Walford's online classes. If you've never taken one, I highly recommend it! They are designed for you to take the class online and use supplies that you have at home. Each project has specific instructions and dimensions as well as a video tutorial on how to make it. It can be a lot of fun!
So with this card, she used a hot air balloon stamp. I didn't have one, so I drew the basket, strings and bags that go under my balloon. I cut out some patterned paper to make the circle for the balloon part. Then I put a Shaker Card Pouch filled with chunky glitter on top.
This is where the tutorial from Andrea Walford was nice. This is a slider card. So you pull on the ribbon and the balloon comes up revealing the sentiment. I hand wrote it since I didn't have any of that type of stamp with me.
Have a fantastic day!
