Happy Childhood Reading

When I got home from my trip, I started browsing challenges for some inspiration.  The decorated envelope is part of the Envy of the Envies Challenge over at Just Us Girls.  They always have such fun challenges!  Then I looked at Splitcoaststampers and found a Mojo Motivator Challenge!  The challenge is to choose a technique challenge, a sketch challenge and a colour challenge from the last year and combine them.  So I chose  TLC265 - Childhood Memories for the technique,  CC291 - Razzleberry Saffron Tangerines for the colour combo, and SC309 for the sketch.  This is the end result!

I used Betty the Bookworm by Stamping Bella.  She is coloured in with coloured pencils.  From Stampin' Up! I used stamps from Baroque Motifs and Everyday Flexible Phrases.  For added detail, I pierced along the paper edge and stitched with white embroidery floss.

I remember reading these comics under the covers with a flashlight when I was supposed to be in bed!  What fun!  Have a fantastic day!
