The Love Bunny
Prairie Fairy is having a design team call! The requirements were to make a project with this cute little guy! Prairie Fairy has a lot of other super-cute images so it would be divine to be able to be on their design team! Of course, I love challenges too! So this colour combo is for the Just Us Girls Once Upon A Springtime Colour Challenge! I would love it to be spring already, but I'm afraid I have a bit of a wait up here in the Yukon (-28 degrees Celcius today)! So instead, I'll have to keep imagining spring while I make my cards!
I coloured in the bunny with my Copics (R20, E00, E34, E99, B91). I LOVE the way Copics blend! Because I ended up printing him out a little larger, I kept the card simple. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Olivia collection and the trim is from Fine and Dandy - Tickled Pink Trims. Now, for any of you that may have the Tickled Pink Trims, you'll notice that they have a velvety (it's a word if it conveys meaning!) finish to them. I find this impossible to make stick with my regular adhesive, so I used my glue gun. It worked like a charm! On his tail, I glued some fluff from a cotton ball. The inside of the card says, "If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. - Winnie the Pooh."
I hope you have a wonderful day!
