Sweet Sunshine

When I saw this little sunshine girl stamp, I just had to get her!  It's such a cheerful image!  I love anything to do with sunshine!  Here in the Yukon, we don't get a lot of it in the winter, so this is my warmth today!

I've entered this card in a couple of challenges.  The first is:  Hot or Cold . . . Choose Your Extreme! at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog.  The second challenge is:  Bright & Bold Color Challenge for Colour Inspiration for Card Makers Week in the Moxie Fab World.

I'd been looking at the Faux Tile Technique over at Splitcoaststampers and thought that this Sunshine S.W.A.L.K. Collection stamp from Crafter's Companion would make the perfect scene!  I used my pencil crayons to colour in the image and sponged the edges of all the squares with light blue ink.  After distressing all the edges and covering the squares with Glossy Accents, I topped it all off with this wonderful velvety (is that a word?) trim from Fine and Dandy.

Have a delightful day and hey, try to create something today!
