The Gem Fairy

Of all the sets that are available at Digi Design House, I have to say that the Portfolio Collection - digi set is by far my favourite!  I think you get a lot of 'bang for your buck' because of the number and variety of the stamps in the set.  Plus, it is the only set with this gorgeous fairy!  This was my first requested set when I found out I was going to be on their design team!  I coloured the fairy with my Copics (wings-R27, R24, R20; dress-YG95, YG93; hair-E97, YR21, YR20; skin-E21, E00, E000) and accented her wings with rhinestones from My Mind's Eye.  I distressed the edges of the patterned paper, but left the cardstock along (okay maybe with some light sponging).  I like the distressed paper next to the clean paper!  The ribbon that I had looked too thick, so I twisted it into a spiral to make it look thiner.  It ended up adding some great dimension!

This card is for the sketch challenge at Digi Design House Blog.  If you have some time this week, play along!  The winner gets a free digi from Digi Design House!  Awesome!

Other challenges I'm entering this card in:
I Did It Creations - Welcome Spring
One Stop Craft Challenge - Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend (plenty of bling)

Have a wonderful day!
Hannah

So pretty! Love how you colored her... my fav set too! That twisted ribbon is great and I like the distressed PP on clean cardstock too... it really makes you notice the distressing when it is framed like that.
