Charlotte's Birthday

This really has become my favourite post of the week!  It's been a couple of weeks as my kids have been sick, but everyone is better now and I've had a little more time to craft!  So what kind of post is it?  It's the one where I make a card completely for me.  I've chosen an image from my stash, browsed my favourite challenges, and made a card using those challenges as inspiration!

I think this is my favourite stamp at the moment!  She is the cute and zany Charlotte from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  I love colouring Charlotte's hair!  I coloured the image with my Copic Markers (pink-R24, R22, R20; blue-BG07, BG02; hair-E99, E97, Y21; skin-E21, E00, E000).  I made the paper flowers and added some glitter by touching the tops with my Zig 2 Way Glue Pen and then sprinkling some SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top.  Here's a close up:

I ended up putting the birthday sentiment inside the card, well because I completely forgot the "twist" part in the Just Us Girls Challenge (see below)!  I still wanted to qualify for the challenge so I added it inside!

Here are the challenges I'm playing today:

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Bingo Card
I included Flowers, Glitter & Die Cuts on my card!

Just Us Girls - Colour Challenge With A Twist
Black, Aqua, Coral, Kraft + A Birthday Card

Do You Stack Up? - Scallops

One Crazy Stamper - April "Flowers"

Sketch Saturday - Sketch

Stamps:  Charlotte from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, SU - All Holidays
Paper:  Copic X-Press It, Bazzill Basics - Black, We R Memory Keepers DP, SU Cardstock - Kraft, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, SU - DP
Ink:  SU - Cameo Coral, Cool Caribbean, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories:  Rhinestones, SU Dimensionals, SU Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
Tools:  Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Oval LG & Petite Oval SM, SU Slit Punch, Sewing Machine, Zig 2 Way Glue Pen

I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful Tuesday!
