Watermelon Day!

`You may have noticed that this is a post-heavy week!  It`s true!  It`s a very busy week!  There are two posts today, so make sure you scroll down to see the next post for the DDH Grand Opening Celebration!

Today, there's a new challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog!  The challenge is Watermelon Day!  This means we can use watermelon colours or images with actual watermelons on them!  I found this adorable Watermelon Girl by Karen's Doodles.  The image is coloured with Copic Markers.  I added flourishes cut out with a Quickcutz Die.  The spots on the orange DP are actually raised.  I made them with Inkessentials Enamel Accents.  The crocheted flowers are from Stampin' Up.  I dyed a couple of them with SU's Kiwi Kiss Ink to make them match.

Other challenges I'm entering this card in:
Crazy Challenge - The Sun Is Out
Die Cut Dreams - Holiday Fun
iCopic Weekly Challenge - Skin Tones
Paper Pretties - Lazy Days of Summer
Creative Inspirations - Summer
Sparkles Forum - One For The Girls
Craft Your Days Away - Summertime
Crafty Anns Challenge - Summertime
The Shabby Tearoom - Mix and Match (Photo Inspiration + Use at least 3 DP's)

Supplies:
Stamps: Watermelon Girl by Karen's Doodles
Paper:  Fancy Pants DP, Copic X-Press It Cardstock
Ink:  SU - Kiwi Kiss, Regal Rose
Accessories:  SU Pretty In Pink Brads, SU Crocheted Flowers, Inkessentials Enamel Accents
Tools:  Quickcutz Flourish Die, Paper Piercer, SU Mat Pack, Spellbinders Standard Circle Dies

Have a wonderful day!

Amazing! What a slice of life. Your colouring is so beautiful and you've added so many amazing details. Your enamel spots are so nice that I at first thought it was patterned paper.
