Funky Fabric

Hello, all!  I feel like I haven't been around in a while!  Things have been crazy-busy for me!  Sorry about that!  I have a few cards for you this week and some awesome blog candy going on this month, so I hope you'll forgive me!  This card is for the Tiddly Inks Fabric Challenge.  My daughters backpack fell apart so I used some fabric that I cut from that.  It has such a cute pattern!  I coloured Wryn - Close to my Heart image with Copic Markers to match the fabric.  I took apart the zipper from the backpack and made a zipper flower (my first!) from it!  The crown is Grungeboard.  First I painted it white with craft paint, then sanded it after it was dry.  Next I spritzed it with Be Mine Glimmer Mist.  I added some Cotton Candy Distress Stickles and then a few Kaisercraft Black Rhinestones.  I LOVE the way it turned out!

Other supplies that I used are the Cuttlebug Spots & Dots embossing folder, Pixie Pink, Sahara Sand, Pacific Point and Basic Black SU Cardstock, Staples 110lb White Cardstock, Spellbinders Petite Ovals Dies, and some rickrack.

I hope you have a fabulous day and thanks for visiting!
